Richard Clark is a farmer and company director from Tulloona, on the black soil floodplains of NSW, where he and his wife Barbara run an intensive 1340ha specialist grain enterprise, focussing on summer and winter cereals, pulses and oilseeds.
He has extensive experience as a director and Chairman of organisations in the agricultural sector and more specifically, the grains industry. His experience includes the positions of founding Chair, NSW Farmers Grains Research Committee; Chairman, Wheat Research Foundation of NSW; Director Advantage Wheats Pty Ltd; Director, ChemCert Ltd; Director, GrainFoods CRC; Director, Quality Farms Australia. Richard was a Director of the GRDC from 1996 until 2002, and Chairman of GRDC from October 2013 to September 2016. He was a councillor of the Grains Council of Australia and a councillor of the National Farmers Federation, where he was a member of the Trade and Economic Committee and the NFF Climate Change taskforce.
He is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Mr Clark was Deputy Chair of the Council of Rural RDCs from March 2015 to February 2016.
